Think what you want about Joe Kent, but this goes beyond ignorance and instead is a straight up propagandist lie about Iran's nuclear ambitions. Iran did want nuclear weapons. This is an absolute fact. - Iran maintained a substantial stockpile of 60% enriched uranium. - That means they had essentially completed 99% of the work to reach a weapons grade of 90%. - Regular civilian use requires about 2-5%. At most 20%. - No country has ever enriched to 60% and not gone on to develop a bomb. - Iran refused to end uranium enrichment in Geneva negotiations, just before the attack. Taking the the Islamic Republic's fatwa against nuclear weapons at face value is about as intelligent as that woman who thought it was a good idea to keep a chimpanzee as a pet.
