Chinese government bonds have sidestepped a global debt sell-off since the start of the Iran war, emerging as a haven from soaring energy prices and rising global inflation. What’s behind Chinese bonds’ resilience? ft.trib.al/KAoGthk

The costs of the war in Iran will outweigh its benefits, write Richard Betts and Stephen Biddle. “In just its first weeks, the war has cost many billions of dollars in direct expenditure, reduced support for Ukraine, and shocked the global economy.” foreignaffairs.com/iran/price-str…

1944 Hitler introducing a "gas chamber".... (Topic forbidden to question/debate)... Nahhh this is 2026 from a European supremacist representing Israel, a sick society. This is Ben Gvir introducing execution chamber for Palestinian people, the same owners of the land colonisers stole. Palestinian prisoners used to be tortured and sodomized, now they will be executed as well.

“If we don’t take action to restrain the Israelis, this cycle will just continue. We need to make it clear that offensive operations must stop unless they are coordinated with us first. If they keep launching strikes without our approval, we should begin removing parts of their defense system. That’s the only effective way to hold them accountable. Simply asking won’t work anymore each time we do, they agree but then carry on with the attacks. We are bearing the brunt of this war while also financing their defense. The only path forward is to impose limits on the Israelis and push for a shift toward diplomacy.”

This is how the Israeli police behave toward an elderly Jewish woman who wanted to protest the Death Penalty for Palestinians Law. If she was Palestinian they would've shot her.

Please share. Let it be known that many Israelis are enraged by the Ben-Gvirite settler terror and the death penalty law, and that some of them are brave enough to demonstrate and face unprecedented police brutality in the streets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump says the U.S. will hit Iranian bridges that would take "15-20 years to rebuild." Bridges are civilian infrastructure that millions of Iranians depend on daily. Destroying them doesn't weaken the IRGC. It punishes ordinary people and makes postwar reconstruction exponentially harder. And if the pattern holds, Iran will retaliate by hitting bridges somewhere in the Gulf. At what point does someone in the room ask whether these targets are ending the war or just guaranteeing the next one? Source: @Acyn

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump said Iran does not need a deal for the U.S. to end military operations: “They don’t have to make a deal with me. When we feel they’re set back long enough that they can’t build a nuclear weapon, we’ll leave whether we have a deal or not.” x.com/RapidResponse4…

The mask is completely off. A retired US General admits that since the Pentagon has run out of military targets in Iran, they are now preparing to systematically destroy the country's national civilian infrastructure. This is a blatant confession of planned war crimes.

An Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs. Over 1 million people have already been displaced in Lebanon in just a few weeks. This is nearly one-fifth of the entire population of a country that already hosts the world’s highest number of refugees per capita. The homes of entire families have been wiped out and towns emptied. Bridges that connect communities to the transportation of supplies have been blown up. The death toll is rising faster than during any previous war in Lebanon. This has quickly become an humanitarian catastrophe. And many of the 1 million displaced civilians (like in previous wars in the Middle East) will be forced into fleeing their war torn lands and migrate as refugees across Europe to seek safety and survival.

Israeli journalist Gideon Levy described the celebrations and the opening of champagne bottles in the Israeli Knesset after a law allowing the execution of Palestinians for “acts of terrorism” was passed. “For them, there is a big difference between Jewish blood and any other blood,” Levy said. The crisis in the Middle East could have a devastating impact on global food security. Fuel and transport costs are soaring. Fertilizer prices are next. If this situation doesn't improve right now, food prices—and hunger—will rise, with the most vulnerable affected the most.
