One of my favourite dramatic soap storylines was Charity finally having her day in court over what Bails did to her.
Also finding out she'd been pregnant with his child who she'd thought had died at birth only for it to be revealed baby Ryan had survived was a shocking twist.
It was one of the most well-written storylines I think a soap has ever done. No stupid whodunnits, no ridiculous twists or terrible writing, it was a powerful, emotional story told with sensitivity and brilliant performances from all involved.
Seeing Charity finally confront her past and get the justice she deserved made it one of Emmerdale’s strongest storylines one that will go down in the show’s history.
