@valeyo @larry0x @america You can get a SSN if you’re here on a work visa. ITIN’s are for people that aren’t eligible for a ssn. The ss cards for visa holders usually say “valid for work only with DHS authorization” at the top

IRS systems are also linked to SS to help with verifying TIN’s. The system won’t issue a refund to a person that has an invalid TIN…that goes for both citizens and non citizens

@TheBravoDerm Fwiw I had a similar issue. I went to urgent care and they sent me to the hospital. I had to do an ekg test. They thought I was having a stroke. I had a ct scan and IV drip for hours. A nurse on the side of the road ain’t cutting it unless you have no other choice

4/5 She asked if I would be that person. Of course without thinking twice, I said yes. Her 1st appointment was this morning. I was in no way prepared for how heavy this weight would feel, feeling like I failed her mother and terrified of failing her.
