The main takeaway for YRs should be "would Charlie Kirk speak like this?" If not, it's time for a reality check. Throwing around F-bombs and off-color jokes like it's cool, isn't cool. The wake up call here is that making offensive jokes is a weak effort to "fit in" and "be cool" - yet ironically it's not fitting in or cool with civilized society. If YRs want to grow up and be actual politicians - or convince others to follow them, that requires fitness, tact, and earning respect from your fellow citizens. Trash language should not be equivocated to the word "young" in front of the word "Republican" - but rather "young" in the sense of striving to consume knowledge and make your positions relatable through logic rather than brawn or brash behavior. That takes growing up, and I hope these young men will realize there is a lot more opportunity to influence peers when you start from a respectable place in life that allows others to relate to you and see your point of view. Assume everything you say will be put under a microscope in society - as Charlie was, they couldn't find any dirt on him because he stuck to principled speech and behavior.
