@MirelurkQueen @jennifercihi Yes. There was a CD version released as well, which was recomposed from scratch. Although the vocals were the same, the instruments used changed and they extended it for the album. This is the original that was made before any discussions for an album ☺️

@summanaro That would have been the album version. The TV version is a bit different; using different instrumentation and it wasn't as long as the re-made album version ☺️.

"Rainy Day Man" (Original TV Version). While not as hugely different to its extended album counterpart, the instrumentation is the major variation between the TV and CD versions. Jupiter being my fav Sailor Scouts puts this song in my top 5! #Sailormoon #ogdub #dicdub

@EndyMX @jennifercihi I'm pretty sure he looked and couldn't find anything relating to the production of those songs. He believes he handed everything over to DIC. We would need to pitch in to buy the masters off the company that owns them now.

@CorzaMoon @jennifercihi Right?! I even emailed Michael Benghiat in 2023 about it and he did reply back! But a) he says the rights are DIC's so he can't release them and b) the song is theoretically in a tape he has but he's unsure 🫤 maybe you can show him what you did and he could have mercy on us 🤭

@CorzaMoon @jennifercihi Amazing work! I'm hoping you'll also post "Only A Memory Away." I've waited decades for the original Episodic version vs the Album version. They are like night and day, completely different and I've always wondered why that choice as made.

@baymax42tails @jennifercihi This particular version was never released on CD. The instruments used slightly differ to the "Songs from the hit TV series" album version. Michael and his team re-produced all the songs from the first 65 episodes when it came time to release the CD.

@CorzaMoon @jennifercihi Last time I heard this wasn't from the show, but on a soundtrack CD that was brought out by DiC in 96.
