CotEditor's localization process is community-based. We are welcome to add your language to CotEditor so that more people can edit text comfortably without hindrance. In CotEditor project, each language will be maintained by one maintainer on an ongoing basis to keep the quality.

@johnrpenner Thank you for the feedback. I’ve already replied in the GitHub issue pages. (I'm dedicating my spare time between my main job to the CotEditor project, so my replies might not always be timely. Sorry.)

@CotEditor ive recently switched from Sublime Text to CotEditor — really love the elegant minimalism. three things i could wish for: i) INLINE FIND into the main window, ii) Mini-Map, iii) Multi-File Search. 🍏 if CotEdit had these things, i could get rid of Sublime Text!

@kkqr これはお察しの通りOS側の機能で、CotEditorとしては陽に何か実装してるものではないんですよね。API的には個別にオフにするものもないようなので、システム側での対応になります。

macOS 26.2になってから、テキストエディタで式のような形になると勝手に計算しやがるようになった。。。うざい。 とりあえずApple Intelligenceは却下したが、直らない。。。 どうやったらオフにできるのこれ。

@_MarlonJames Thanks! A short answer to your question is No. I’ve actually considered this feature before because I personally wanted it, but I ended up dropping the idea since the mechanism didn’t feel very intuitive. I understand why you’d want it, though. I’ll think about it again sometime.
