Empathy matters. We need to see that Iranian service men are no different than US ones. Just regular good people doing a job to have a life and family. There's no need for all the military ops the US has done. They just create suffering and rarely achieve goals.

His advise is to not ruminate later over what they said and label them or label yourself as a victim of them. We just bring in relevant knowledge when needed.

I recall Eckhart Tolle said, whenever there is a clash with people. We can look it as "they want this, I want this". And focus on that with an empty mind. Often a solution will come. He wisely says not to focus on labelling them, which our minds often do.

The bombing in fact increased Milosevic's popularity (even with pro-Western Serbs) and more generally was a total failure militarily that achieved nothing, apart from civilian destruction and death. Below, a contemporary classified memo from MI6 officer Julian Braithwaite:

Completely false information. The 1999 bombing did not collapse the regime. Milošević remained in power until October 2000. x.com/JohnnyNash77/s…

Glenn Greenwald drops a massive reality check on American taxpayers. American tax payers forced to send a minimum of 4 billion dollars every single year to Israel like a massive gift certificate while American troops are constantly deployed to protect them in their endless wars.

Between 1965 and 1973, the U.S. Air Force dropped 2.7 million tons of explosives -- more than the Allies dropped in the entirety of World War 2 -- on Cambodia, a country with which it was not officially at war At the time, Cambodia’s population was smaller than New York City's

@RajaBandreddy @AJEnglish Then the US must also pay reparations for all the infrastructure it attacked in Iran? Do not forget the US attacked Iran first. Iran attacked back. When a gas plant was attacked in Iran, Iran attacked back a plant of country whose US bases did the attack.

@AJEnglish Iran can accept the defeat, but not their terms. Iran has to pay reparations to the neighbours for their infrastructure(non military targets) by giving 50% toll it wants charge. International insurance prices for the oil cargo should be reduced significantly.

Murder is effectively legal in Palestine, including live-streamed murder, so long as the murderer is Jewish, and the victim is Palestinian.
Drop Site@DropSiteNews

⭕️ Israel has not prosecuted a single killing of a Palestinian civilian in the West Bank since 2020, Guardian analysis finds No Israeli soldier, police officer, or settler has been charged for killing a Palestinian civilian in the occupied West Bank since the start of this decade, a Guardian review of legal data and public records shows. At least 1,100 Palestinian civilians have been killed there since 2020, more than a quarter of them children, according to UN data. Dozens of former Israeli security chiefs, including two former military heads, five former Mossad and Shin Bet directors, and four ex-police commissioners, have signed a letter warning that "almost daily" attacks on Palestinians amount to "organized activity" by people "wearing uniforms, who shoot at innocent people and burn the property and homes of civilians." They warned that failure to address what they called "Jewish terrorism" poses an existential threat to Israel. This month alone, Israeli settlers and police killed 10 Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, including a family of four shot in the head, among them brothers aged five and seven, as they returned from a Ramadan shopping trip. According to legal rights group Yesh Din, between 2020 and 2025: ▪️over 96% of police investigations into settler violence concluded without an indictment ▪️Of 368 cases, only eight ended in full or partial convictions ▪️Palestinians filed 1,746 complaints against Israeli soldiers in the same period, including over 600 related to killings. Less than 1% resulted in charges

I simply don't believe that Jews are a uniquely persecuted victim group, being "purged" from western power centers like business, media, entertainment politics. It's laughable. Those who get angriest about this spent years mocking victimhood narratives from every other group.
Jesse Brown@JesseBrown

Glenn and I used to be friendly. I once interviewed him on stage in Ottawa, liked him and admired his work on the Snowden story. To shrug off a wave of bigotry and the widely-felt concerns of a minority, on such a petty basis, is beneath the morals of the guy I thought he was.

Both the NYT story below and the Washington Post don't tell you what Flynn's alleged false statements were. I think there's a good reason for that omission. The dominant media narrative back then, and that of the guilty plea, was that Flynn had lied about discussing US sanctions with the Russian ambassador, Kislyak. When the transcripts of his calls with Kislyak were finally released in May 2020, they showed that in all of Flynn's multiple conversations with Kislyak in December 2016 and January 2017, the issue of sanctions only got one fleeting mention – by Kislyak. Because those transcripts were kept private throughout the Russiagate saga, anonymous officials, the Mueller team, and Russiagate stenographers turned this into an imaginary scandal wherein Flynn had floated a payback for Russia's alleged 2016 election help and lied to cover it up. And this came after FBI officials essentially entrapped Flynn, as one FBI agent on the Mueller team, William Barnett, later complained about. Flynn therefore had grounds to fight this case and receive a settlement. And not only did it fuel Trump-Russia conspiracy innuendo, it helped further criminalize diplomacy with another nuclear-armed power.

Trump's Justice Department has agreed to pay Michael Flynn $1.25 million in taxpayer money even though he pleaded guilty twice to making false statements to FBI agents about his interactions with Russian officials. @alanfeuer nytimes.com/2026/03/25/us/…

Besides being a breach in security, the other possibility is equally important. The public in a democracy must have confidence politicians are not making decisions to enrich themselves. Creating war troubles so they can then profit from them. Ther merest hint needs investigating.

Seed oils have made a lot of people very fat, but not because there’s anything special about the oil. It’s just oil, and a major source of invisible calories in modern diets. You could swap seed oils with any other oil and Americans would be just as fat.
