@wholemars Looking at old data I have. HW3 production ran for about 4 years. 2019-2022. That's about 3.2M cars that can add FSD. Take rates were reported to be much higher back then when we thought FSD would be solved much sooner. I estimated 1.3M bought full purchase.

There are probably around 3.5 million hardware 3 Teslas worldwide.
Bringing V14 to these cars will be an absolutely huge deal. Millions of people will get to experience what the latest FSD is capable of.

I’ve been using Tesla’s self drive tech for over a month now & I’m even more convinced that within ten years driving a car will be like riding a horse, something people just do for fun. It’s transformative on a level I don’t think most understand yet. Absolutely revolutionary.

When you start thinking in $, the whole insanity of political failure becomes more apparent.
We need a MUCH better system of governance. Our "leaders" are just a bunch of insane people with no checks and balances, wasting our treasure and gambling away our future.
Iran is just one blatant example - open borders, mass migration, energy infrastructure destruction, Russia delusions - all of these are not just abstract "they messed up" issues, but COST US TRILLIONS.
The creation of a better civilization is BY FAR the highest ROI endeavor we can engage in.

Nokian has invented a new hybrid winter tire that deploys the studs when needed. Hakkapeliitta 01. The studs retract and deploy depending on temperature. Studded winter tyres offer worse grip than studless in some winter conditions, but are superior on ice. I am excited to try these!
