Last week was a bit intense on instagram, so we wanted to follow up with an open invitation to our virtual healing circle. We will be hosting this safe space on zoom on June 25th at 6pm, and it will be a place where we have conversation, heal, learn, and mend together.🌿💛

@CountyProtest What seems to be missed here is a view of Juneteenth being one in which we all respect any strides of progress in ending the savage history of human suffering, hence the national "holiday" vote. We could lend a hand to improve rather than attack.

@/junteenth_coalition on Instagram made an event of people pretending to be a enslaved for 246 minutes. It is exploitative and disrespectful towards the African American community. The link to the petition will be uploaded.

@NathanRoyJames Sir you seem to miss who Juneteenth is for.

We will not be protesting the event since it has been canceled. However we are still asking for the Juneteenth Coalition to apologize for the harm they caused to members of the Black community.
