PLAYER OF THE YEAR LINCOLN WILLIAMS – 6'6" SENIOR – KANKAKEE HIGH SCHOOL The state's top-rated player capped a dominant senior season by being selected as SSHoops Player of the Year. Williams' combination of elite scoring ability, rim protection, and basketball IQ made him the South Suburbs' most impactful player. The 6'6" forward's versatility—scoring from all three levels while anchoring Kankakee's defense—established him the best player in the SSHoops region. Williams was Player of the Game at the Chops Billinger Shootout, Oak Lawn Spartan Showcase, MVP at Kankake Holiday Tournament, and led Kankakee to undefeated Southland Conference Title, and selected as Southland Athletic Conference Player of the Year. During his senior year, he averaged 26ppg, 6rpg, 3apg, 3spg, and 2 block shots per game, while shooting and amazing 77% from the field.
