To celebrate Pride month we’re showcasing some of our most colourful pieces for you to own or admire. Our team strives to make our space feel safe and accessible for all. We love and support our LGBTQIA+ makers and customers and we wish everyone a very happy Pride month!

Our Botanical exhibition is on until 15th July. Here’s a little more about featured maker Naomi James, and a peek at their work!  Naomi has been making jewellery since she was 14!

Members of The Craft Centre team recently had the pleasure of visiting Saltaire for the Saltaire Inspired Maker’s Fair and Arts Trail. We have awarded fantastic maker Jill Pargeter with the ‘Best New Exhibitor’ award. Congrats Jill! We’ll be working with Jill in the future.

Father’s Day is this Sunday, and The Craft Centre and Design Gallery is full of wonderful handmade cards and other lovely gifts for the fatherly figures in your life. You can also book workshops with us and spend some time with Dad making some lovely handmade things!

Our Botanical exhibition is on until 15th July. Here’s a little more about featured maker Julie from Papermetal, and a peek at their work! The interweaving of metal to paper and paper to metal evolving as a signature style around imprinting.

It’s your last chance to see Still, our print exhibition featuring Moira McTague and Sarah Du Feu. The show ends this Saturday on the 17th of June. Don’t miss out! If you can’t visit us in person you can take a Virtual Gallery Tour on our website.

Our Botanical exhibition is on until 15th July. Here’s a little more about featured maker Wild Grey Art, and a peek at their work!  Sarah McKenzie and Helen Knaggs Wild Grey Art. Sarah trained as a jeweller and gained a degree in 3D design specialising in jewellery.

Our Botanical exhibition is on until 15th July. Here’s a little more about featured maker Lindsey Mann, and a peek at her work!  Working from her studio in the wilds of Wiltshire, Lindsey constructs jewellery using hand-printed anodised aluminium.

We’re super excited to announce this year’s Winter Show 2023 and In The Spotlight showcase, 7th October - 20th January. The Winter Show 2023 will be a celebration of the very best of UK contemporary craft. This year’s In The Spotlight showcase will be an Adele Taylor solo show.
