@FootballEJ UK Bears fan here - for me it was Payton, McMahon and The Fridge on the Sunday morning highlights on Channel 4. Being there for the Bears ‘home’ game in London was awesome, but will definitely get to Soldier Field eventually!!!

One of the most frequent questions I get asked: If you're not from CHI (I'm not), why the Bears? For me, it starts in '83 watching Walter Payton struggle... and succeed. Something extremely noble about the effort and respect he commanded; from everyone. I was hooked & never left.

Know times are expensive but the print fanzines are one of the last constants from before all the shite thrown at us now, and one of the only truly indepdendent voices challenging back at it all. And a decent, varied read for less than a pint.

Fanzine wise, thanks so much for the support this year. Podcast upturn is great +28% higher. Mag wise, we -10% down App, -15% Kindle, -15% Print and +10% PDF. That's not sustainable in long run so fingers crossed. Please if you say support the fanzines, please support us in 2026.

You can’t change the landscape so stringently, with a massive focus on actively trying to ban ST Holders for passing on tickets, with so many methods being used to catch people, then celebrate the very same thing on social media because of who it is

But this chest pumping social media push of photos, knowing that the lad isn’t an ST holder, given the current animosity between fanbase and club around away tickets, is tone deaf in the extreme

The outrage over tickets landing in ineligible hands last night is justified. While the club didn't issue them, the presence of club-affiliated personnel instantly raised the issue’s profile. The biggest insult? The club thought it was okay to post pictures of this on social media for "likes." This is peak disconnection. Loyal fans face strict sanctions, bans, and procedural breaches, while the club celebrates the very rules that match-goers circumvent. It proves there's one rule for social media optics and another for the actual fanbase.
