@MuslimBibliophi its about $600 so well within budget,
has a built in LP filter, i haven't research whether you can switch filters, i'm guessing it would have to be external which might cause issue
when you consider a typical eq mount costs $500 it's worth it for the convenience
English

Yeah, previously, people had to capture a lot of images, then use stars to align the stack (in software) and integrate; I guess this does it all in software.
Can you switch out filters on this? I am thinking of getting one myself, but I will study which one to get. Budget: $1000 USD. I don't want to spend ~$4K-$5K for diminishing returns.

@MuslimBibliophi yes seestar s30 pro , just imaging orion nebulae at the moment, I will post
it takes the fun out of it though, just put it outside and press a few buttons on an app.
I guess this is the way forward now

@MuslimBibliophi i will see what I can do, we can always photo edit at the end to sort out orientation
English

@CrescentLapse If you can, try to keep the same orientation, so that it is consistent pic to pic.

@MuslimBibliophi we are lucky in the uk if we get more that 2 consecutive days of clear skies 😂
we've been stuck in a dense cloud pattern for weeks, it's finally cleared today
English

@CrescentLapse It would be cool if you could take one everyday.
