When we take the field at our next home game, April 12th, it will be nearly 30 years to the day since the Columbus Crew played their first game ever. In a 4-0 rout of DC United (who went on to win the first MLS Cup that year), Brian McBride had two goals and an assist. This second goal was assisted by Bo Oshoniyi (our goalie) - the ball never touched the ground.

20 y.o. Josh Wynder, Louisville KY native, is close to a loan from Benfica to the Columbus Crew for much added depth to CB position. Fun fact, André Gomes was 20 when he played for Benfica (helping the club win the first treble in its history: league, cup and Taça da Liga).

Pi day (3.14) Columbus Crew lore. The only Pi day that the Crew played a match was at home against Toronto in 2015 (which is the actual Pi sequence through the two digit year: 3.1415).
The Crew won that game 2-0 (Meram/Kamara). Another fun fact: Pipa starts with Pi.
