I laugh at feminists who actually think the handmaids tale is some living dystopia. It is the complete opposite. Let's imagine an alternate dystopia: women are fed hormone altering pills from teenage years to make them infertile through their prime fertility years, whilst they work to deliver profits for mostly male elite bosses. And if they accidentally get pregnant, the baby is killed so they can continue to generate profit. It's a good plot. It is just real life. Not a work of fiction

If you have a breed of an animal, that is distinctive, say, St Bernards, if 2 St Bernards have a baby in German Shepherd land, it would be a st Bernard, and no one would try and pretend it's a German shepherd. And if the St Bernard puppy grew up to mate with another St Bernard, even though it is 3rd gen, no one would call the puppy, which would be a st Bernard, a German shepherd. And they wouldn't say, a German shepherd born St Bernard. It would just be a St Bernard.

You can't be a British born Pakistani. You can be a Pakistani born in Britain. But they are two very different things

As a Catholic father and Christian Restorationist, the violence, stabbings, and social breakdown we're witnessing across Britain isn't random or inevitable. It flows directly from decades of deliberately abandoning the only foundations that ever sustained a decent society: genuine faith in God, the primacy of the intact family, and belief in objective truth and moral order. When you strip those away and replace them with secular liberalism, hyper-individualism, mass immigration without assimilation, and a culture that mocks virtue while celebrating vice, this is the predictable result. Children aren't safe. Communities fracture. Fathers are sidelined. Mothers are exhausted and pressured into careers over home. And the state grows ever more intrusive while failing at its most basic duties. Restoring what was lost isn't nostalgia or "turning back the clock", it's survival. The data on family breakdown, fertility collapse, crime patterns, and mental health all point in the same direction. Chesterton warned us that high society collapses when we forget basic things. Dostoevsky warned up what comes with the rejection of God. We ignored them at our peril. The renewal starts with each of us: in our homes, our parishes, our daily choices. No political party will save us if the culture remains rotten at the root.

This is why I am always saying to the right, tell us what you are, not what you are not. Society has declined because people stopped understanding what they are. People enjoyed the switch to a liberal way of life and then became anti the fringe movements within liberalism. We need to rediscover what we are for

The right really lost its way during COVID and became a type of odd libertarian movement. It celebrated all manners of people who didn't agree with lockdowns, BLM, or knew what a woman was. But most of them were just liberals who reject the very excess of wokeism, but they are still liberals who don't have the answers to today's problems. I'm zero surprised at Kathleen Stock. She was always a lefty. Marry Harrington another who thinks the fertility rate being 1.4 is natural and not an issue. Konstantin Kisin another who is an easy takes liberal like seen in the US. We need to hold up voices like Peter Hitchens, whom actually does see the problems we face. And knows the solutions. Even if he is miserable

@CrossAndCaptial @AlexanderTurok God, you're thick. The Pill doesn't make women infertile. It stops them getting pregnant, (when women stop taking the Pill, they can become pregnant) & it controls heavy periods. Men are so dumb, when it comes to female biology. Stick to reading The Bible, mate.
