Today, we have had the pleasure of hosting lovely colleagues from across the region, for their Positive Handling training. A busy day with lots of information to share, and our main focus as always, being relationships, regulation & knowing our children. 💙

Our staff were invited along to a yoga and sound bath session tonight after school. What a great way to start the week 💚 #wellbeing

🪨 Stump Cross Caverns! 🪨 In the afternoon, year 3 learnt about ancient creatures, created their own fossils and even dug for gems, teeth and evidence of ancient life! 🪣 🐚 🦴

🪨 Stump Cross Caverns! 🪨 Year 3 had a fantastic day at Stump Cross Caverns, exploring the caves. We were bursting with excitement to finally see all the cave features we’ve been learning about in class.

🦴 Year 3 have LOVED their Stone Age day! 🔥 To wrap up a busy day, we used the natural materials to create cave art, before diving under the tables, drawing in our very own cave walls! 🎨🦣 #AboveandBeyond

🦴 Year 3 Stone Age day! 🔥 🏺 After exploring primary evidence, we built Palaeolithic shelters out of sticks and mud- lots of great teamwork! 🌳 🪵 We went foraging for natural resources, and even discovered stones that we could use to make tools. ⚒️ #AboveandBeyond

🦴 Year 3 have LOVED their Stone Age day! 🔥 We all dressed up as a Stone Age person, lots of animal skins, animal teeth jewellery and fierce faces! 🦴

⚽️ Team Crossflatts! ⚽️ Our year 3&4 girls had a blast at yesterday’s football event. We played against Sandal, Haworth, Oakworth, Hoyle Court and Baildon CE. The girls had a great time and played well! 👏🏼 #engageandinspire

🏉 Team Crossflatts! 🏉 Our Year 3 pupils were brilliant in today’s tag rugby competition vs Oakworth and Haworth Primary. Fantastic skills, teamwork and enthusiasm on show- a great example of PE at Crossflatts! 💪

🏃🏻 Team Crossflatts! 🏃🏽‍♀️ In the most challenging, boggy conditions imaginable, our qualifying cross country team shone with incredible smiles and unwavering resilience. 👏🏼 #Bradfordfinals

🪨 Year 3 explored Neolithic pinch pots and used these clay skills to create their own 3D caves for their Caves and Chasms topic! 🎨 They added dripstone features including stalactites, stalagmites, columns and flowstones – a great way to link art and geography! ✨

🏓 KS2 had a brilliant Table Tennis Experience Morning with Mark, a pro player from Holland! He wowed pupils with his skills, shared his journey and even brought a table tennis robot 🤖 Years 3–6 loved the sessions and can’t wait to play again! #ActiveSchools #KS2
