We are disgusted by the scenes of violence from far-right thugs on the streets of London today. And yet our Home Secretary emboldened them. Shame on the Government.

The Home Secretary deliberately incited hate & violence on Armistice Day at the actual Cenotaph. Household name journalists, editors & politicians gleefully joined in. This is not normal. They will be absolutely livid that the peace march proceeded peacefully. They are dangerous.

Any fool can divide people, it's not difficult, creating fear is simple. Its far more skilled to unite and give hope. Braverman is a lazy politician without skills to do her job, so she's dividing even her colleagues because she's simply not got the skill to do anything else.

We know we need more youth work in our town. It was positive to go to Ashburton Lodge today which is to be redeveloped as a much-needed youth centre. Thanks to Oasis, @MinsuR, the council, the National Lottery Heritage and Friends of Ashburton Park for making this happen.

My heart goes out to Elianne Andam’s family, friends and the wider community. I’m committed to driving down violent crime and will continue to do all I can to end knife crime in our city.
