Contractors are in a blood bath right now. Here’s the hamster wheel we go through often. ___________ 1. We send a job to bid out. 2. Contractor bids labor VERY HIGH. 3. My PM tells him we will pass. 4. Contractor messages us constantly asking why we don’t hire him for work. 5. Repeat ___________ This is seeming to be more and more a trend recently. The days of “name your price” for contractors are slowing down. Now it’s a fight for work. This isn’t a bad thing.
