This. I know they’re trying to manage the rise of AI and bots but also give us some sort of freedom of speech. X is the best at non-censorship, to an extent But it’s also very suppressive It just feels a lot harder to reach people being authentic But again the bots caused this

Hate to say it, but algo was better in 2022. There's something missing. I come here with intention and purpose, and the algo does everything to circumvent that with reaction-bait that I am disposed to engage with, but have no desire to seek. Result: engagement metrics go up, utility of app fgoes down. My time spent curating a follow list is wasted. I don't want to curate further lists and click through different lists to find exactly what I'm looking for. The timeline is supposed to be that already.
