Narcissists can’t be wrong. Ever. Because being wrong would crack the delusion. So they reframe. They gaslight. They deny. They blame you. Anything to maintain the version of reality where they’re actually a good person. The delusion is non-negotiable.

If Karmelo Anthony was my son, I would’ve been at Jeff Metcalf’s family’s door begging for peace and forgiveness. Not raising hundreds of thousands of dollars, crying broke for a public defender, and turning the whole thing into a racial circus. Metcalf’s family showed more restraint than most people ever could.
