For anyone wondering, it’s only been a positive thing in Aus. No one even talks about it anymore which can only mean the kids don’t care. The ones desperate for it will find workarounds, but the majority have found better things to do with their spare time.

@ReevReaver You are in the best position possible for utilizing AI effectively tbh. The industry operates with huge teams and specialized roles which has left many AAA folks in a bad spot since they have spent years doing one thing rather than working the entire pipeline.

For Game Art students: Outsourcing replaced your entry level jobs for the past decade. AI has wiped out 1/3 of jobs across the board. Everyone fighting AI is unemployable and on a list for layoffs now. Top tier talent are struggling to find work and they are your competition
