Lanes 1 and 2 of (3) and the exit slip road at J38 #Tebay of the #M6 in #Cumbria are closed for specialist clear up works following the earlier collision. There are 60 minute delays on the approach to J38.

There are 60 minute delays J37 to J38 on the #M6 northbound in #Cumbria. Multiple incidents in the last few hours have compounded congestion. Please allow extra journey time whilst traffic flow returns to normal.

The #A595 in #Cumbria is closed northbound between #HowgateRoundabout and the #A597 #Distington. This is due to a collision between a car and a van. Cumbria Police are on scene dealing with the incident and we will pass on their updates here.

The #M6 northbound remains closed between J36 #KirbyLonsdale and J38 #Tebay following an earlier incident involving an overturned lorry which caught fire. Emergency resurfacing is into its final stages and its expected the road will be reopened before late evening.
