@StylistMagazine So many female artists that could have been referenced here Frida Khalo, Jenny Saville, Somya Critchlow, Alice Neel, Mickalene Thomas, Tracey Emin…I could go on.

I am a big fan of @StylistMagazine but it’s really counter intuitive that the art referencing nudes they featured in their ‘A Dress For Everybody’ issue are all by dead white male artists and of white models with a particular body type.

@NHSBrent @NHSBrent Every Dr that works on your children’s services team needs to undergo unconscious bias training because the behaviour I have continuously experienced when seeking medical support for my child is unacceptable.

@NHSBrent is charged with providing healthcare services for one of the most diverse London boroughs yet I know for A FACT that if I was white and my child was not mixed race they would never speak to me in such a manner.

The level of unconscious bias I experience every time my child has an appointment with a Dr from the paediatrics/children’s services team @NHSBrent is actually astounding…and don’t get me started on the patronising manner they speak to me in.

What a fantastic (and surreal) week, being lucky enough to receive Freedom of the City of London in a ceremony at Guildhall! It was really interesting to take part in such a unique part of London’s history and I'm looking forward to driving some sheep across London Bridge soon!
