Thank you, Utah. This journey has been about getting things done and ensuring that Utah values are represented in our nation's Capital. Your support shows we can address the major challenges ahead: managing public lands, holding China accountable, advancing our energy dominance, and always standing up for the principles that make Utah strong. Go, fight, win!

This Black Friday, consider spending a little extra—not on more stuff, but on someone in need. The Light the World Giving Machines are up across the country, including right here in Utah. In a season full of buying, this is one way to give that truly matters. Find a Giving Machine near you: deseret.com/faith/2025/11/…

As a colleague, I respect Mark Kelly and value his friendship. I know him as someone whose career has been defined by service. His record as a combat naval aviator and NASA astronaut reflects his example of the discipline and dedication that are important for success.

Social media companies and the algorithms they use are being regulated by outdated legislation. I'm proud to be working with Senator Kelly to bring these rules into the 21st century.

Thank you to everyone who participated in last night’s local elections. Your engagement is the foundation of a healthy democracy. And to those elected—congratulations. Public service is both a privilege and a responsibility. I look forward to working alongside each of you on behalf of the Utahns who are counting on us to listen, to lead, and to deliver real solutions to the challenges we collectively face.

Many have asked me who I will be rooting for on Saturday and while I think I could easily escape with a politicians answer and say I root for all of Utah, we all know that’s silly. Go Cougs!!!!!

Today, I join millions of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in expressing my support for President Dallin H. Oaks on being called as the 18th President and Prophet of the Church. President @OaksDallinH has spent a lifetime in the service of God, country, and community. From his early days as a Utah Supreme Court Justice to his decades of spiritual leadership, President Oaks has consistently demonstrated an understanding of the vital balance between truth and compassion. In a time of division, President Oaks reminds us that faith can be both firm and kind—that convictions need not come at the expense of civility. I am eager to see how his leadership will inspire members of the Church and anyone seeking hope, wisdom, and moral clarity in a complicated world. I pray that President Oaks will be able to lead this next chapter in the Church’s history with strength and reverence.

Sue and I love having our grandkids over, and we always want our home to be their favorite place. So… we built a playground set in the backyard. It took us all night to put together, but it was worth every minute—and a lot of fun along the way.

Joni is one of the hardest working and most effective legislators in Washington. I’m grateful we’ll have her leadership and partnership as we tackle the many challenges ahead in the next sixteen months. Her presence will be deeply missed in the Senate.

@BradenLHess I appreciate your perspective. I teamed up on this because water isn’t a partisan issue—it’s a Utah issue, and a national one. When we find common ground that benefits our communities, I believe it’s worth working together to get results.

Communities across Utah and the West are dealing with aging water systems, rising demand, and the constant pressure of drought. We need smarter tools—not just bigger budgets. That’s why I’m teaming up with Senator Gallego on the Water Infrastructure Modernization Act. This bipartisan bill invests $50 million in grants to help local water systems upgrade with smart tech that can detect leaks, improve storage, and build resilience for the future. Water is too precious to waste—and local leaders deserve modern solutions to protect it.

That’s a big, imaginative idea—and I always appreciate creative thinking when it comes to securing water for the West. Solving our long-term water challenges will take both innovation and collaboration. I’m open to all smart solutions that respect our land, communities, and future.

@CurtisUT John, we need a pipeline to the west from the Missouri. Run it next to an oil pipeline. Get Elon Musk to solar power it. Bring the abundance of the east to the territory of the west.
