Christmas Mass Times 2024!

FOUNDATION STAGE NATIVITY 2024 - Our youngest St Richard's children were absolute stars today in their Christmas Nativity Play #itsbeginningtolookalotlikechristmas #welldonefoundationstage #wearesoproudofyou #shinelikestars

Today the children in year 5 enjoyed some immersive Advent Prayer Stations which were confidently led by some of our Year 6 pupils. The children journeyed through the nativity story, reflecting upon the significance of each part. @CuthbertPrimary @MbroDiocese @StCuthberts_RC

This week our Mini Vinnies helped @StellaMarisOrg to pack up our donations for the Woolly Hat appeal. Thank you to all of our families for your generosity, it will make a big difference! #STAsparkle

Catherine from CAFOD came in to talk to us about Catholic Social Teaching (CST). It helped us to understand CST is based on the belief that God has a plan for creation, a plan to build His kingdom of peace, love and justice. @CAFOD @CuthbertPrimary #CST

We are especially proud of our Porridge Prize winner who performed the most beautiful solo at our Carol Service this morning.

Today we had a special service of reconciliation followed by the opportunity for individual confession with Canon Stephen.

This week’s Porridge Prize winner is an absolute superstar and we are very proud of him.

Today the children in Key Stage Two took part in a beautiful Advent Service of Reconciliation. We reflected on anything we might have done to hurt others or God and said the Act of Contrition together @MbroDiocese #reconciliation #adventservice @CuthbertPrimary

A wonderful 1st Advent liturgy this morning Jed by our Chaplains and Mini Vinnies.

God of hope, increase our love, so that this time of Advent waiting will make us ready for you, whether you come in poverty and need or power and glory. Amen.
