Epstein paid the father of his assistant Lana Pozhidaeva over $230k. Yuri Pozhidaev is a "former" FSB military translator who later became a senior security official at multiple Russian government companies. This didn't make it into the article, but one well-placed Russian source suggested to me that this payment was "krysha," a Russian term loosely translated to "protection." In other words, make sure your FSB friends don't give me any trouble as I import dozens of young women from Russia to New York to abuse. It fits with the way Epstein operated. And, barring new evidence, the FSB never raised any concerns about Epstein abusing scores of young Russian women, even though they certainly knew.

All those kernels, protocols, router firmware, browsers, databases, etc. Somebody coded these and debugged them by hand?!?!? They used BBEdit?!?!??!
