@Chris_Boardman Completely unnecessary road deaths are accepted by society, when jurors seem to routinely accept 'careless' driving in cases when it should clearly be 'dangerous'.

Why oh why are there no life bans from driving for repeat offenders. Why? The amount of parliamentary enquires I’ve attended on ‘safety’ and this is still normal. A driving ban has no cost to society, only the individual. Surely a no brainier for any civilised society.

@ldnparks Have you read the revised Highway Code or indeed have any common sense? Remember bikes give way to pedestrians (and cycle at an appropriate safe speed where pedestrians could get hurt).
