MI is just a part of his legacy...what he has done for India after Adelaide semifinal 2022 is even bigger than winning 5 trophies becausee healed 1.4 billion people. @APTalksCricket This is not a football league where clubs with years of history are bigger than the players. Ipl started in 2008 and players like Dhoni and Rohit are bigger than the ipl and the teams so they deserve as many chances as they want.

I support this team since 2008. Many of you jumped on the bandwagon after 2013. Boys, I survived Sachin God's retirement and thought about transition at that time too. Rohit is the greatest captain IPL has seen and should have been the captain today too. What is in our hands if they thought of transition? We can criticize all we want and criticism is well deserved... but at the end of the day team is team..and the badge is sacred. Players will come players will go but MI will stay forever.

Look MI look..look how Ishan Kishan played when SRH lost wicket on the first ball. He didn't consolidate or arrest collapse. He counter attacked. His form was up and down for MI but never was the quality ever in doubt. An Indian wicketkeeper of this quality let go is baffling.

My stance with Rohit Sharma has always been clear. For what he has done for my club I am forever grateful and he should retire at MI only.. BUT AS A CAPTAIN. And if the management made a decision to move on, it had to be goodbye Rohit as a player before 2025 mega auction. We are in trouble because we did neither and did something in between which has cost us some serious misses. You just cannot have Rohit as a pure batter over Ishan Kishan who is Indian wk and explosive.

Imagine Ishan opening for MI then you can play all of Jacks Rutherford Santner and then have the luxury to choose Ghazanfar or Bosch and still have 6 bowling options without impact player rule giving you more flexibility to add extra batter or bowler as per situation. Sigh.
