@LWCDamian Hi Linda, I think this a reaction to the OVER writing-for-the-theme approach that many proposals take. Almosrt every proposal usually has words from the theme title in the session title, which waters down the actual research folks are doing... #4C26

@DCoad That’s interesting they usually encourage writing toward the theme. Do you know why #4C26 is taking the opposite approach this time, and what benefits they hope for?

You may have already seen this, but the #4C26 CFP is explicitly asking that we NOT write for the theme!!!

I didn't watch the full keynote, but is there going to be a way to turn OFF ChatGPT integration on your iPhone? I know plenty of people who hate giving AI new food/data, and would not use an iPhone with the possibility of this.

It's about time for this change that more accurately and honorably represents our work to students/colleagues/publics, and I hope other universities will do the same!

Santa Clara University is changing its non-tenure-track faculty's titles! Adjunct Lecturers (who are really full-time) will just be Lecturers, and Renewable Term Lecturers will become Assistant/Associate Teaching Professors. Senior Lecturers will become Teaching Professors.
