@Erwin6_ They’d rather buy someone for £60m on half his wages not realising it’s more costly

@Moon_AGD Gas are scarred from Mourinho but Simeone is a shithouse and it would certainly rile teams up.

If we’re not getting Enrique I think Simeone should be up next in line. Guy has been playing 4-4-2 for the past decade & has been consistent with it for so long.

@PhokMei @NOELY1982 You hire multi skilled staff so the salary from the business perspective is worth it. If you have you abide by a ratio of 10:1 why would you give someone with no experience high pay? Smaller business will, most won’t

@PhokMei @NOELY1982 Yeah that would be lovely, I’d love to earn twice as much but reality is a business is ruthless and if they don’t deem your contribution to the company as worth it, they won’t hire you and won’t pay you.

@DHardcastle @NOELY1982 Stopping hiring isn't an option for any business wanting to succeed. And overworking isn't really an option with the European working time directive. People overall would be more content and satisfied with their work if they felt they were being compensated fairly

@PhokMei @NOELY1982 I think they’d jus stop hiring people and try recruit multi skilled staff. Most likely people would be overworked in a job and there would be increased unemployment

@DHardcastle @NOELY1982 Of course it does, pay parity across a company would raise the floor because the top CEOs wouldn't want to accept £250k-£300k a year. Realistically, that's a fantastic pay for anyone. But if you want £600k a year as CEO, you should be able to pay your staff £60k

@PhokMei @NOELY1982 People are entitled to be disgruntled about their pay, everyone wants to be paid more, but capping the ceiling doesn’t lift the floor

@PhokMei @NOELY1982 Everyone does benefit, simply by them having jobs. The lowest paid staff member at Britain’s biggest clubs are better off on their wage than no wage, there’s a reason premier league teams employee far more staff than league 2, success brings money and money creates jobs

@DHardcastle @NOELY1982 If you want to sign superstars on superstar wages, you have to make sure the rest of the workforce aren't unfairly compensated If you're planning on success by signing someone like Mbappe, you make sure EVERYONE is benefiting from that success

@PhokMei @NOELY1982 Don’t pay the wages, don’t get the players, don’t get the players you don’t get success, don’t get success means you don’t get revenue to expand a club, don’t expand a club and you have to cut staff. Is it better cleaners are on minimum wage or unemployed?

@NOELY1982 ORRRRRR We don't pay anyone these egregious wages like 500k a week and value everyone that contributes to the club/workplace? Maybe don't pay the kitchen staff or cleaners minimum wage
