@DJChongWizard @DistroKid It’s right away. I’ve honestly tried most distribution services and I like Distrokid a lot.

Apparently @DistroKid needs proof from big name features now saying they approve being on your song and allowing it on DSPs which isn’t a bad safety measure but they don’t give you any instructions on how to submit the verification.

@DarkoTheSuper @DistroKid Yeah at very least I’m working pretty far in advance so we’ll see how it goes. Hopefully no issues. How long from them getting the DM approval from the artists does it take to get processed?

@DJChongWizard @DistroKid Yeah, I’ve had to do it a bunch. They used to put those directions with the email rejecting the release. Now they don’t anymore. They don’t give a damn

@rapmusicplugpod Yeah time has a way of changing things. Like the perspective of being there in the moment vs looking back 30 years later is like looking back on a world that no longer exists. A decade of being nice on the mic in 1997 might’ve felt like forever.
