Every now and then I'll remember the 5th stage of X-Men on Sega Genesis, where the game prompts you to "reset" as the giant computer in the stage is supposedly glitching. The only way to pass it is to physically press the reset button on the Genesis. I never did that because why would anyone do that and never passed that level. I think about it randomly from time to time and get just as pissed off as I was the day I found out. I've been mad about it for years.

Watched a couple of Marvel movies over the holidays (Iron Man and the first Avengers movies). They weren't bad, but I still struggle to see the appeal of a 2.5 hour movie where you already know the good guys survive and win ahead of time.

@coL_Amazonian The problem with Marvel is that everything is either a Legendary Hero, or like a hot dog vendor. There isn’t much magic apart from the main characters, whereas with something like Avatar or Final Fantasy, everything has magic.

I think Marvel Super Heroes will be more fun and have more draw than Spider-Man did. I imagine it will be similarly disjointed, but have some cool individual designs around characters.
I don't have high hopes for overarching set design though. Being better than SPM is a low bar.

I think Star Trek has enough world consistency and setting flavor that it will make for a good UB set, even if it isn't high fantasy.
TMNT and Marvel Super Heroes I think will be the UB flops of the year.
