There is absolutely no conspiracy against, or for, any team in the Premier League and to believe so is ludicrous. But what cannot be denied is that we are going through the worst-ever run of referee/Var etc errors. It's never been this bad.

SCOUT: After review, the assist for Manchester United's second goal is awarded to Bruno Fernandes. His deflected pass led to the own goal from James Hill. There was no touch from Harry Maguire before the own goal.

I think it’s quite obvious that if the Maguire and Amad penalty situations happen in the opposite order, there would be a lot more outrage and people screaming about “big clubs” getting all the decisions…

All three are “absolutely penalties”, yet he gave two and not one.. and he arguably gave the one that was least ‘absolute’. At some point common sense needs to come in.. from referees and those reporting the technicalities. He got it wrong and it cost the team.

There are degrees of subjectivity. For instance and as stated, Maguire and Evanilson are in the grey zone. Cunha is still subjective but absolutely a penalty.

The only reason the referee didn’t give United a penalty for the foul on Amad is that they had just had one. Stonewall penalty. VAR ince again shows its uselessness by refusing to overrule.
