After the Bungie layoffs are completed and it becomes clear that Sony hasn’t green-lit anything to continue the franchise, I think there’s going to be a ripple effect that people may not be fully considering. One thing I expect to see is videos from players canceling their PlayStation Plus subscriptions. I’m already seeing comments across my social media. It feels like there could have been a better way to handle this situation. The PlayStation ecosystem will change, I have no idea how little or how much.

@PaulTassi My hope is the ones who get laid off not only land on their feet, but are able to form a studio that can make a spiritual successor to Destiny. It doesn't have to be a live service game. Give us a damn good singleplayer FPS with a good story. Sprinkle in some PVP of course.
