@aakashgupta Live a life free of all assumption. The minute a person begins a sentence with “I assume…”, I tune them out completely.

Everyone's missing the real story here. The pity was the entire premise, and Mary just took it apart. A 21-year-old filmed her at that Maryville AMC, started a GoFundMe to "help her retire," and it cleared $100K in under 24 hours before landing near $145K. Then Mary answered the question nobody bothered to ask her: she likes the work and has no plans to stop. So she took the money and is sending it to a local family instead. A format that runs entirely on "no one should work at this age" found a 93-year-old who'd rather keep her job and hand six figures to someone who needs it more than she does. The video cast her as the person to be rescued. She turned around and became the one doing the rescuing. Strangers wrote a tragedy onto a woman living exactly how she wanted to, and the only thing that needed fixing was their assumption.

This is Miss Mary, a 93 old woman who works AMC theaters cleaning trash people leave behind. My heart hurt watching this. This is not the way it should be. 🥹💔

📍🗺️ In 2024, this ski resort announced over $200 million in investments that have seen it get everything from the second most expensive lift in North America (at $52 million), a new hotel, additional snowmaking, new summer activities, and so much more, making it stand out in one of the most competitive ski scenes in North America. 💰🏔️ Can you guess the trail map? 🧐

This is the most insane customer call you’ll hear all week Lady: “Hi, I backed into one of your dumpsters and cracked my taillight. Who do I talk to so y’all can fix it?” Guy: “Ma’am… you put your car in reverse and hit a giant metal box that doesn’t move. You want us to pay for that?” Her: “It was in the way!” It’s a DUMPSTER. Parked where it’s supposed to be. At a retirement home. This is peak 2026, folks. Zero personal responsibility. Just pure main character syndrome and the expectation that someone else will always fix your consequences. If you back into a stationary object and immediately call the owner demanding they pay… the problem isn’t the dumpster. It’s you!

41 years ago today, this man ordered a Bloody Mary, a steak sandwich and.... a steak sandwich. Then proceeded to charge it to the Underhills.

I used to hate kids freaking out on planes while I tried to work. Then, I became a dad. And now, I just feel bad for the parents when I see it. If you don't have kids, trust me, it's less comfortable for those parents than it is for you.

No one wants a romantic dinner ruined by a screaming child at the next table. According to a new survey, 75% of Americans say restaurants should offer some kind of adults-only dining experience to avoid unruly kids. That includes child-free sections, restrictions during late-night hours, and quieter dining environments focused more on the experience than family-friendly chaos.

If a kid acts up, you remove the offending child from the restaurant immediately and take them to time out in the car. This is how I taught my kids to behave in restaurants. You have to be ready to sacrifice YOUR nice meal - you might spend the entire time in the car - but- spoiler alert- parenting is about making sacrifices. Do this a few times and your kids will be well-behaved. I did the same for stores. I remember once having to leave an entire grocery cart to follow through on a timeout threat. It feels like absolute HELL when you are going through it, but it is so worth it. You have to be consistent. If you have a kid with special needs, or a newborn - don't take them to a nice restaurant. There are more laid back, loud atmospheres that are better suited.

NEW: MBTA Transit Police try to round up a pair of unruly teens as stunned commuters look on. The video, shot at Downtown Crossing, shows what appeared to be a chaotic scene as people could be heard screaming. No word yet if there were any arrests.
