Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment

The DUNE-Brazil scientist meeting at Unicamp was a successful event that brought several important topics to discussion and future planning.

The Leptons Lab at University of Campinas in Brazil is a key site for the production and assembly of DUNE light detection systems. The PuLArC facility is developing novel techniques for liquid argon purification for DUNE Thanks to Ettore, Ana & Pascoal for hosting the visit!

DUNE Co-Spokes Sowjanya Gollapinni and LBNF/DUNE-US Project Director Jim Kerby visited Brazil and met with @unicampoficial leadership and @AgenciaFAPESP representatives to discuss Brazilian contributions to DUNE and thank them for their continued support.

Congratulations to the JUNO collaboration on the successful launch of their experiment! DUNE and JUNO are highly complimentary and we look forward to building on the insights JUNO will provide as we prepare to launch our own program in the near future.
