Durham University Things To Do

Over the next month the Oriental Museum will be trialling a new audio descriptive guide created in collaboration with members of Blind Life in Durham. Please ask our front of house team to try it and once you’ve finished please complete a questionnaire about your experience.

This is John's favourite object: it is the Chinese model of a rhinoceros. I think it looks really cute and cool at the same time even though it’s display cabinet description reads “It is clear that the creator had never seen an actual rhinoceros.”
