I am glad that the Access Road bypassing the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport's second runway, off the Bill Clinton Drive to the Tungan Madaki Community in the FCT was commissioned yesterday. As attested to by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who was represented by the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON, the newly commissioned road will open up critical economic pathways for local communities that have spent years physically isolated from the economic heart of the FCT. It will also address a long-standing historical injustice against original inhabitants of the area who had surrendered their ancestral lands to allow the construction of the second runway. I commend the people of Tungan Madaki for their cooperation. The communities, rather than demanding exorbitant financial payouts, requested basic, life-changing necessities like roads and employment, which we have done. To further open up the communities and link the Abuja Municipal Area Council directly to the Gwagwalada Area Council, I have directed the contractor, CCECC to complete the extension from Tungan Madaki down to Zuba by December 2026.

In India 🇮🇳 , a man has been standing upright for 12 years as an act of devotion to the deity he believes in. He has not sat, slept horizontally, or rested his body in over a decade. All of this in pursuit of a god that cannot respond, benefit, or harm him in any way. A wrong conviction is dangerous. It does not only waste time. It shapes every decision, every sacrifice, and every year of a person's life around a false foundation. The man in India is not an anomaly. Across the world, people endure great hardship, give their wealth, and surrender their comfort to beliefs that lead nowhere. This is why the pursuit of truth is an obligation, not an option. A person owes it to himself to examine what he believes and why he believes it. The most tragic form of loss is not poverty or failure. It is a life spent devoted to the wrong thing.
