First Lieutenant Commander Emad Hormozi, an Iranian Navy officer killed in the U.S. torpedo strike on the IRIS Dena, has been identified and returned to his family after 50 days.
His body was recovered through excavation of the operational area and confirmed through DNA testing.
The U.S. torpedoed an unarmed ship on a goodwill mission, in international waters, with no warning. Iran is still identifying the dead.
