When we were testing players for N1HEX, I explained that the meta would revolve around neutral play, that the game would be more dynamic. I showed the Ultron comp before all the teams they were practicing against. Before IGNITE started, I was let go because, in their view, the comps didn’t make sense and there was a language barrier.
It’s sad to see them drop out of a tournament like that. High-level play is different , you need to be willing to take risks when you’re not the favorite. Trying to copy comps will always punish you, because you don’t have the same time or individual skill level as more experienced teams.
