Updating lyrics while I blow-dry my hair, editing script while I cook my dinner, recording voice memos while I wash up, writing ideas in my notes app on commutes to the day job... I think writing @DaisyMusical has become my only personality trait at this point.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, writing a one-paragraph outline of a show is harder than writing the entire show itself.

Writing is, like, 20% writing and 80% thinking in silence with a pen in your hand.

When we weren’t in a scene, we genuinely passed tissues to each other. In the middle of one scene in the final run, a tissue was thrown from one person to another so they could sort themselves out before their next bit. We laughed too. Promise! @racheltucker1 📸 by @dannykaan

Sent the footage of the @DaisyMusical workshop to my parents. Dad: “I’ve cried more in the last 2 hours than I have probably in the last 10 years.” Note: they also laughed. Promise.
