@wixinho Was the notification via email? If so double check the sender, could be a phishing email trying to get you to click a link. If it's an app notification. Try contacting support. Also see if changing the email for the account stops it happening

I got a notification saying someone attempted to log in to my account (with correct password) from Pakistan last week. I changed my password, and got the same message last night with the NEW password. WTF? Any tech wizz kids know how it's happening?

@VinceMetuz Agreed, glad I got out a few years ago. Doing the B stream for certain TO's was great until next time someone offers to do it for 50 euro cheaper and all the hard work you put in for years means nothing. It's the same story all the way down the ladder

The state of tier 2 and below in CS broadcasting is abysmal, the worst state I can recall (and I have been around a loooong time.) Even during the wild west years, there was plenty of opportunity. Now, between heavy under cutting and lowballing, very few TOs and shady business practices, getting any consistent work is nigh on impossible and even if you do, you'll go months without receiving the money you are owed, and in some cases you just flat out won't be paid (you'll hear more on this soon, fuck it.) It's affecting a lot of people. Budding enthusiast next wave of broadcast talent, which could be future world beaters and the established who aren't at T1. Teams and players attempting to showcase what they have to offer going unpaid. Inevitable match fixing. It's a heap of festering shit.

@DanChanCSGO It's a shame it ended so soon, I feel we had so much more to give. The sheer amount of comedy we were able to produce was outrageous.

Hey all, I'd like to announce that it comes with both a mix of some delight and some sadness that as of today I would like to officially declare that I am retired from casting and working within esports in any shape or form as of 12th July 2025, where I will do my final cast of my Esports career for the ESL Pro League 22 Qualifiers, and I will not be accepting or taking on any further work of any kind. Firstly, I’d like to thank all orgs who gave me the opportunity to cast for them and not only helped me strengthen my portfolio, but in my broke periods certainly helped me put food on the table when times were not easy. I would like to also give a very honourable thankyou my co-caster Josh (@OnlyJoshinTV), who took a chance on me, and had been putting in work a long time prior to me being around, but took a chance casting with me and we have shared some nice memories which I will remember for the rest of my life. I would also like to thank Ginel from ESL, who gave me my first opportunity with Josh casting for the company which was one of my dreams when I first fell in love with CS. There are so many more people I would like to thank but it will not be possible to name all and I apologise if you are disappointed, but you know who you are. I’d like to give a special thanks to Freddie (@GrimyRannarr) who helped me a few years ago outside of Esports when I was at one of my lowest points in my private life, we haven’t spoken in a while but I really appreciate you. Thanks to all my teammates who I had the pleasure of experiencing memories both online and on LAN that I won’t forget, these are the days and times I will look back on when I’m grey and old. Unfortunately, the grass was not green for a lot of my casting career, and surprisingly it wasn’t just some dodgy team orgs. A few people I have spoken to privately already know this was coming, but as I said to others and promised to myself that from the day I retire, is the day I cannot be penalised for what most are afraid to speak about due to working in the industry and the impact it will most likely incur for speaking up. And maybe for those who are thinking about getting in to freelance work in future in Esports will be more knowledgeable about what does happen in the scene. Because I wish I would have known. I will be revealing a lot of the dark side of esports (with evidence) but I would be foolish to not seek legal advice first, so I will post this at a later date once I have had professional guidance on the matters at hand and as I said I hope it can help give knowledge to at least 1 person who is thinking of pursuing a career in the space and they do not fall in to the traps I unfortunately did. And yes, I will be likely perusing legal action against the people/companies if I’m advised to do so now I am in a privileged financial position in my life. CS will always be a part of my life, I've made lifelong friends from both working and playing CS, and no doubt I’ll be in and out with some bad takes on the timeline along the way. But, it is now the time for me to step away. I appreciate all of you who made it this far in an era where anything taking longer 5-10 seconds seems to be too long to stay focused. Stay locked in. All the best, Wix

A lot of people spoke about the VRS system after our news about CS, which was the icing on the cake, but just wanted to break down the main 5 reasons that compounded the decision and why it’s so hard for UKCS currently There is more than this but these all link together

@EndpointPete Really interesting, thanks for the breakdown, Pete. Sorry to see the CS side of things coming to an end for now, but I hope Endpoint succeed elsewhere, I'll always be rooting for you guys and gals. You're a great bunch. Best of luck ❤️

@wixinho Getting the same for the past week. Had 3 today within the space of an hour. Thought at first it was just someone using the wrong email/number to try to log into their account but I guess not

Being a caster is probably one of the worst jobs in esports right now. Rates are cut, you never receive any ownership of what you build, you have zero job security, and your voice becomes the soundtrack of a co-streamer who makes 10x your money. Get out while you can.
