the sub-pixel cushion placement will be removed in vanilla, but a BlockTag will be added which will allow datapacks to effortlessly re-enable this feature

DO CUSHIONS CAUSE LAG? A few update haters claimed that Cushions would cause lag, so I decided to test it. I placed 2,304 Cushions (9 chunks) in a Superflat world. The FPS results are shown in the screenshots. The result? Basically no difference. #Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 3

with the new cushion we can finally make rainbow road ice boat tracks! the cushions are entities without collision so they dont slow the boats down on ice like everything else
