Soo.. this finally happened today. Became a British citizen. After 18.5 years. Last 14 months of struggle. Worked hard for it and earned it. Few names to thank, you know who you are, but also to Redbridge Council staff this morning. We did it baby 🇬🇧

And spare me the fatalism. The notion that we are unable to answer this is rubbish. We have the means. What we lack is the will - we still lack the political courage to respond. And a state that will not defend itself is not merely passive. It is issuing an invitation. Every unanswered blow guarantees the next. Weakness is provocative.

The @BBCNews has now confirmed what some of us warned for years. A Russian diplomat ran a sabotage campaign on British soil: arson against the Prime Minister’s own home, and fake far-right and Islamist groups built to turn us against each other. This is not crime. It is how war is fought by powers who don’t want to expose their hand. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

In foto Semyon a Venezia

How do you save North East schools £100,000 per year for books, school supplies and the best days out? Simple - put solar panels on their roof. So that’s what we did for 23 schools in Sunderland and Northumberland. Lower energy bills, more money for kit, kids loving their contribution to the environment and the panels were fitted by north east workers too! Green energy 🤝 green jobs 🤝opportunity

War Diary Day 1,573 Well done @BBCPanorama for exposing the Russian behind the arson on @Keir_Starmer’s home. And the grubby lies the Russians put out and “Tommy Robinson” echoed. Kick Russia off the international banking system for good. #VPDFO!

I find it flabbergasting that Russia ordered a sabotage operation against the British PM on UK soil and yet everyone seems to accept it's just business as usual. This behaviour is why it's essential to defeat Putin in Ukraine. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@RhonddaBryant Chris, in light of the indirect arson attacks on the PM, and the appalling murder yesterday, of a Russian artist in Poland, surely it is now time to close the Russian embassy in London? These acts can’t just continue.

This pretty much destroys any argument Putin has tried to make about the morality of his assault on Ukraine. One of the most ancient Orthodox sites under direct attack. For shame.

I cannot believe what I’m witnessing in Kyiv tonight. Priests at the Kyiv Lavra one of the holiest Christian sites in Europe are rushing to save crucifixes, icons and sacred artefacts while Russia attacks the city. This is what Moscow’s “Christian values” look like.

🥴 dialog.ua/russia/deputat…

🇵🇱In Poland, Russian opposition figure and political emigrant, artist Semyon Skrepecki, has been murdered. According to Polish media, on the morning of June 15, an unknown assailant shot him at a parking lot in Biała Podlaska. According to available information, there were two killers who were brought to the scene by a Belarusian taxi driver, whom they threatened with a weapon. 🔻 According to The Insider, shortly before the murder, Skrepecki stated that he had been threatened by “Russian patriots.” Skrepecki left Russia in 2021 for political reasons. Photo: Semyon Skrepecki at a protest in front of the Russian Embassy in Poland on June 12.
This brutal murder of a Russian opposition artist in Poland is yet another alarming case of political violence against Kremlin critics abroad. The circumstances — including the use of a Belarusian taxi and prior threats — strongly suggest involvement of Russian or Belarusian special services. Such killings aim to intimidate the Russian diaspora and opposition figures living in exile.

A Russian military convoy — dozens of fuel tankers, KamAZ trucks loaded with weapons and ammunition, and various other supplies — left Berdyansk and headed toward the front line in the Kherson region. Then, suddenly, out of nowhere, combat “Hornet” drones swooped in and turned the entire convoy into a pile of burned-out scrap metal. What makes it even more remarkable is that the convoy had not even managed to leave the suburban area of Berdyansk before it was hit. I can only imagine the looks on the faces of the Russian soldiers. At least those who still had time to be surprised.
