Gaza: a rodent infestation crisis is unfolding due to overcrowded shelters, mountains of waste, disrupted sewage management & limited access to water and hygiene supplies. We continue to support partners delivering life-saving aid in Gaza, and call for unimpeded access.

Medical staff are leaving as IRGC and Police Commanders use Tehran hospitals as shields: "I am a member of the medical staff at Labbafinejad Hospital. Today, many of the doctors and I left the hospital. Einollahi and General Radan are currently stationed in a room in the basement of Labbafinejad Hospital. They only have two or three others with them and brought no additional forces to avoid drawing suspicion. Dr. Nafar (Head of Internal Medicine) and Dr. Simforoush, both of whom constantly pressure staff with threats of forced attendance or dismissal, and who are said to have played a direct role in the events of January 8th and 9th، are also in the basement with them. Unfortunately, the hospital is full of patients."

Channel 12 and other Israeli media outlets are now portraying the entirety of Iran’s civilian infrastructure as a “human shield” in order to lay the groundwork for justifying the massive destruction of civilian areas currently being carried out through carpet bombing in Tehran.
