@SD36036 @LifeOfBryan0 Hey, if you want to say we call too many people generational talents, I 1000% agree with you. Absolutely, not doubt. Don’t think anyone can be dubbed generational until the combine as they must have all three of: Size Athletic testing numbers Good tape or good stats

@LifeOfBryan0 @DawgCheckNation No unfortunately it doesn’t. And there’s a kid in the 2028 recruiting class named Brysen Weight who you should research also. 6’3 220 pound WR who’s the next “generational” player that we’ve seen in 3 years.

What does the term “generational” player mean to you? To me, it means you might see a player like that once in your life, or maybe every 15-20 years. I’ve seen multiple Jeremiah Smith’s, or better. Anyone seen a Sean Taylor safety lately?

@LifeOfBryan0 @SD36036 No, the combine demonstrates raw athletic ability. Myles was better, bro. I don’t think I’ve heard any real human go against that.

@DawgCheckNation @SD36036 Blake bottles was the first QB drafted when Clowney got drafted Mitch Trubisky was the first QB drafted when Myles got drafted. Joe burrow went ahead of Chase young to a QB needy team. I don’t even get how this is an argument. Combine is meaningless. It’s for casual fans

@SD36036 @LifeOfBryan0 ‘Generation’ is a real word which you can look up in the dictionary. If you chose to do so, you will quickly understand how multiple individuals can be labeled “a generational player” in your lifetime.

@LifeOfBryan0 @DawgCheckNation Because I don’t have your definition. It seems everyone has their own. You aren’t a generational player to me if I’ve seen multiple players like you in my life

@LifeOfBryan0 @SD36036 Hard disagree on Chase. He would have went 1.1 if he was as good as the other two. I’ll let the combine performance show why I think Myles was a better prospect:

@DawgCheckNation @SD36036 Clowney was the best prospect of the 3 coming out of college. Chase touch was also a better prospect than Myles. Myles worked out the best in the league. But I’m talking about entering the draft.

@SD36036 @LifeOfBryan0 Look up the definition of ‘generation’. Even the term “once in a lifetime” implies multiple individuals.

No you haven’t. Smith is best WR prospect since Calvin Johnson and it’s not even close. And Caleb downs is generational aswell best safety prospect ever. Quentin Nelson was a generation guard Saquon and love generational running backs Trevor Lawrence generational QB talent Caleb Williams is arguably one aswell. Derek Stingley generational corner Chase young was a generational de prospect so was Clowney and Myles Garret. That’s all I can think of in the drafts the last decade or so. Not every generational prospect works out tho, some get hurt. At most there’s 1-2 generational prospects in a draft and sometimes there’s 0. Trent Richardson was a generational talent at that position and he never worked out. Next year is the first time in a while where there is a few generational talents. Arch and Jeremiah smith alone would be the best 1&2 in a draft in my lifetime

@TheDougBeans @Browns Look man: with that athleticism, in the sixth round, at a position that you don’t have a for sure answer at, that is a good gamble pick.

@MattatechS @earldapearl_216 Hot take: Dorsey wasn’t good in Cleveland. Drafting Baker over JA, Lamar, and Darnold. Also the Odell move wasn’t amazing but eh. What new way do you want to blame the GM for them making the 2023 playoffs?

@DawgCheckNation @earldapearl_216 That actually proves my point. In that year, who were the best players on the team and which GM brought in those players? That same GM goes to Detroit and helps turn them into a playoff team after Berry gets hired with the Browns.

Maaaan.. AB.. you better land the damn plane on the rest of this draft cause most of this fanbase do not trust you. We’ve went from laser eyes to “meet me outside fam” real quick lmao 🤣🤣 Last year’s draft wasn’t enough- gotta do it again - Day 2 (3 picks) - Land the damn plane

@MattatechS @earldapearl_216 The Browns made the playoffs his very first year and had an 11-5 season while dominating the Steelers in the playoffs. Is that considered a good or bad season to you?

@DawgCheckNation @earldapearl_216 True. I hope your job gives you 6 years to finally perform. I suspect you would of been fired if you didn't meet standards for 6 years at your company. But I could be wrong.

@joegrubb11 @earldapearl_216 Agreed. KC Conception was the most highly sought after WR in the portal a year ago and was fantastic on a 11-1 TAMU. Fano was also highly regarded as a top 15 pick through most of the draft process.

@earldapearl_216 I do not understand why you even give him trust at all. He was the architect of the worst trade in NFL history with Watson, and has not selected one All-Pro in 6 years. Not one. Let alone the 2 QB draft of last year. He might be the worst of all time.

@earldapearl_216 The history of not only the browns, but Andrew berry is what's scary. Draft a RT top 10, switch him to LT. He's done that before. I get its different, but like I said, history is what makes me/us skeptical. Same with taking a WR who consistently drops the ball. Scary History

I can’t bring myself to be overly critical of two 21-year-olds who are excited to be in the league and could help make this team better. If they don’t — cool, then we can let them have it. But all this pessimism before they’ve taken ONE snap for YOUR TEAM is a bit much. These dudes young enough to be your kid or nephew… relax lol

@earldapearl_216 No one is critical of the two 21-year-olds (at least I’m not). I’m critical of the organization that doesn’t prioritize getting an “impact player” with their first pick in m, but instead choose to trade back 3 spots only to lose the opportunity to take an impact player.

@SPnottheGhost @Primetime0077 If you go look at top 10 wide outs over the past 20 years, it is NOT a good hit rate. I judged them subjectively tho and I was pretty generous.

@Primetime0077 33.3 of receivers drafted in the top ten make a Pro Bowl which is bare minimum of being decent . The hit rate for all other positions is 50% . Nobody knows if a WR will be good. It's a crap shoot .

@jacksonjerami8 @AshleyBastock42 What teams do you have in mind that would call? Need at least two examples if there are plenty of teams. And what is his trade value on a 1 year 3.5mil deal? Again, this guy has 11 starts over the past 34 games.

Todd Monken says Spencer Fano will play LT. Here’s why the #Browns aren’t worried about a switch after he played RT the last 2 years:
