This is based on a true story. A caterer was contracted by a mother and businesswoman to prepare about 100 food packs for her daughter’s graduation ceremony. The caterer charged ₦950,000, and the client paid in full weeks before the event. The client also provided branded bags for packaging the meals. It was clearly agreed that the food would be delivered by 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event, as the client and her family were traveling out of state for the ceremony. The client even made reminder calls to the caterer beforehand. However, on the day of the event, the caterer failed to deliver the food by the agreed time. The client made several attempts to reach the caterer, but her calls went unanswered. Eventually, the client had to travel without the food and ended up purchasing meals from eateries upon arrival at the venue. This caused disorganization and distress during what was meant to be a joyful occasion, her daughter’s graduation. At about 3:00 p.m., the client received a call from her estate security informing her that the caterer had arrived to deliver the food. By then, the client was already at the event and rejected the delivery. Following this, the client engaged a lawyer who demanded compensation totaling ₦1.5 million. This amount covered the ₦950,000 already paid to the caterer, ₦400,000 spent on alternative food arrangements, and ₦150,000 for the branded bags. The caterer eventually paid the ₦1.5 million. The question now is: Was this compensation fair to the client, or should the caterer have only refunded the initial ₦950,000 without the additional ₦550,000? Copied ✔️

Ask meaningful questions, don’t just go to eat, snap pictures of the food, and post on social media. Later in the relationship, when you hear your partner’s view on a particular subject, you’ll be acting shocked. Learn about their values, stance on family, lifestyle, career, and other major areas of life. First dates should give you a glimpse of who they are and whether you are compatible on key aspects. It saves everyone time.

During my NYSC, a guy was accused of pressing the breast of one student (A JSS 3 Child) The student went home, reported to her parent and they came to the school to report to the school authority, they called this Corper to the staff room and this parent, school staffs and brothers of this girl didn’t even allow this boy to speak, they were just shouting at him back to back, hurling insults on him and his parent, Thank God the principal of the school didn’t believe them cus she knows the boy was diligent in his act in the school. The only word this boy was able to say was; “Let’s go to the class and ask the student how it happened” Lo and behold, when they got to the class to ask the student of JSS 3, the whole class said it was a lie, that the Corper asked the girl to leave his class and stand outside as punishment for making so much noise while he was teaching and the girl refused and wanted to fight him, so he resorting in caning her. That’s why I will never forgive a false rape accuser. NEVER ‼️‼️‼️‼️
