Kindergarten and second grade students gathered tomatoes and peppers from the Hydroponics Lab on Wednesday. Lettuce from the garden will be added to their harvest and served during lunch on Friday for a home grown treat that all students can enjoy. Yummy!

Grafflin 3rd graders enjoyed a special visit from TV weatherman, John Marshall. Mr. Marshall brought his mobile studio to introduce weather concepts. Students used his green screen technology so they could became weather casters just like on TV.

The 2024 Grafflin Book Swap was launched today. Over 2,000 books were donated by students, parents and staff to provide quite the shopping extravaganza for K-4 classes. A big thank you to Mrs. Schassler and Mrs. Lenaghan for all their hard work setting up the event.

Yummy! Grafflin ate what they grew. Second graders enjoyed a slice of salad pizza following the harvest of their first hydroponics planting of a variety of lettuces, kale, and mustard greens.
