DAY 7 of ActionSA’s silence on the Gareth Mnisi stench in the City of Tshwane. Herman Mashaba, Nasiphi Moya and their lot are busy lecturing us about everything else in Tshwane: municipal processes, Chinese walls, and all sorts of excuses. But the one thing they refuse to do is condemn the rogue behaviour of their CFO. Not a single statement from them that says "If what we are hearing from the Madlanga Commission is true, then our CFO's conduct is abhorrent..." These are just Mini EFF in green colours!

According to Nkosi, his brother sold a bakkie to Ngoato, paid for in cash amounting to R380k, but Ngoato did not take possession of the bakkie.

So basically, the DA had to pay Cilliers Brink an additional R62,000 per month to keep him in Tshwane, because he refused to stay unless the DA paid him more. Yet last year he was busy saying he was fighting for Tshwane because he loves the city. He just forgot to mention that he also loves the extra money the DA pays him every month.

It is for this reason that The Ad Hoc Committee had no substantive basis to call him for questioning.
Insinuations that a relationship with General Khan is untoward or possibly corrupt by Lt General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi are therefore irresponsible and inconsistent with his own testimony at the Madlanga Commission.
Suggestions that he was ‘protected’ by the CIC Julius Malema are therefore based on a fallacy and are not supported by the evidence on record.
